OUR MISSION

To bring a fresh, modern approach to boating in the Turks and Caicos Islands giving our customers an effortless, service-oriented experience.

With our group of marina-industry veterans, who are supported by a team of skilled tradesmen with over 50 years of experience, our customers can enjoy an experience adhering to the highest marina standards.

NEW AND MODERN

In an effort to offer the most modern marina in the Turks and Caicos Islands, South Bank Marina and Boatyard (previously known as Caicos Marina and Shipyard) is in the process of receiving a total makeover. The facility has been upgraded to 85 brand new state-of-the-art floating docks. The fuel system has also been upgraded to brand new state-of-the-art fuel tanks to serve ethanol-free gasoline and ultra-low sulphate diesel. Dredging and Mega Yacht docks should be completed by 2024 . The Yacht Store offers a well-equipped chandlery for all your yachting needs, including, for your convenience, ice, and grab-and-go food and drinks.

ACCESS AND CONVENIENCE

Located on the south shore of Providenciales, the Caicos Bank offers a natural barrier to heavy wave action and storm surge. There is an easy approach from offshore through charted shipping channels which offer greater depth than the surrounding banks. At 9' full high tide, South Bank Marina and Boatyard offers the greatest depth entry on the south shore of the island.
A long face dock enables dockage without length restrictions. Due to our convenient location, the Turks and Caicos Islands Marine Police call us home. Our friendly dock master is waiting to receive your vessel and offer fuel, water, ice and a wealth of knowledge about the islands.

South Bank Marina and Boatyard operates the only 75 ton Marine Travelift on Providenciales accommodating vessels with up to 25’ beam. Our Taylor 20,000lb marine forklift aides stepping masts and hauling twin engine vessels up to 35’. A tractor provides the quickest haul and launch service available to our clients.

YOUR HOME ON THE WATER

South Bank Boatyard crew is well versed in gelcoat matching and patching, large structural fiberglass repairs, bottom jobs and just about anything else your vessel may require to make your ownership experience effortless. Also on site is our certified Yamaha and Honda outboard mechanic shop, capable of servicing all brands of outboard engines. Our ship store carries products from leading brands such as Seahawk, International, Petit, AWLGRIP, Alexseal, Anchor, Seachoice, 3M, Miami Cordage and many more. Whatever we do not carry in stock, we can source for you swiftly. South Bank’s on-site machine shop is also equipped for gear and propeller work.

Caribbean Marina and Diesel, the local dealer for Yanmar, Cummins, MAN, Onan and others is conveniently located on an adjoining property.

We offer a variety of storage options. For smaller vessels we offer indoor and outdoor rack and trailer storage. For larger vessels we can provide stand storage in our secure yard, as well as tie down storage. In storage, all vessels are blocked and supported by appropriate Brownell boat stands which are chained together. The tie down area is equipped with two parallel concrete beams into which the chain system is poured. Ratcheting cargo straps are used fore, aft, port and starboard to secure the vessels to the chains. Upon request, rebar can be welded to the jack stands rather than using the chains.

Whether you’re passing through, looking for a safe haven for the hurricane season, or require repairs, South Bank Marina and Shipyard is not only your ideal boat service partner, but also ideally located to experience the islands from the water. Many of the cruisers which visit us, return year after year. Our team of friendly, professional staff will strive to make your experience in the Turks and Caicos unforgettable.
