SAILFISH 272 Center Console
The Sailfish 272CC is a very comfortable and capable family fishing boat, that offers a great all purpose layout with super sea-keeping characteristics. A 27 foot boat packed with comfortable features and some nice touches that everyone in the family will appreciate.
Fitted with Twin Yamaha 250hp engines, the boat gets up to a max speed of 50 MPH and a cruising speed between 28-30 MPH.
The aft deck is spacious for a 27 foot boat and nicely appointed for fishing and cruising. There are ample rod holders, nice fender mounts, flip up seats on the starboard and transom and two 35-gallon livewells. There is a retractable tow pole for watersports and dragging the kids behind on the tube. A wide portside dive door has a great heavy duty handle and boarding ladder that make access to the water safe and easy.
The helm of the 272 Sailfish has a great dash layout fitted with twin 12-inch Garmin displays and a tilting stainless steel steering wheel. There are toe rails, retractable foot rests, fold up bolsters a soft foot cushion and premium diamond stitched upholstery with the Captain’s anti-fatigue pad. A great feature is the Yamaha Joystick making manuring this vessel a breeze. A nice analog glass compass sits square in the middle of this smart helm layout plus a VHF radio and antenna.
The tubing and pipework around the console and helm is well-integrated into the hardtop. Down below in the console is a deep interior with a full wet head and stand up shower – very nice feature for a group of friends and family spending long afternoons out on the water.
The bow of the Sailfish 272 CC features plush seating with push-button, gas-powered back rests and a removable table. In-deck insulated fish boxes and under seat insulated coolers provide plenty of room for storing items that need to be kept chilled or on ice. Recessed hand rails and a simple through -hole anchoring system make life onboard a bit easier. Plus pop-up cleats throughout the boat means there is nothing for lines to get tangled on.
